The mission of the Mental Health Association in Genesee County in Genesee County is to promote mental wellness through education, advocacy and support for our community thereby improving quality of life and instilling hope.
To achieve its mission, the MHA sponsors a variety of educational, advocacy and service programs.
The MHA is one of the 340 chapters affiliated with the National Mental Health Association and one of 31 chapters affiliated with the Mental Health Association in New York State.

Family To Family Education Course
Tuesday, September 9 — Tuesday, December 2
This is a no cost, 12-week course held once a week for family or caregivers of individuals with severe brain disorders (mental illnesses.) The course is taught by trained NAMI family members. All instruction and materials are provided at no cost to class participants. This course provides information, insight, empathy and empowerment.
